Lalande-Benedictus Dominus is a grands motet and is representative of the richness found in French Baroque music. To the best of my knowledge, it has remained unpublished, in a modern edition, until now. The music found here is truly beautiful and needs to be heard. It is my hope that this edition will bring Lalande's music to the larger audience it so richly deserves.
It is scored for 1st and 2nd Violin; 1st and 2nd Viola; basso continue; soprano, alto, and baritone solos; and 5-part choir. The download package contains the score, choir parts, and all instrumental parts, as well as color covers for the choir parts and score.
